Ballad of a Long-Stemmed LoveTwo roses on a thorny bushBallad of a Long-Stemmed Love
One day did meet on their vine.
Their love was true and at first sight,
The works of one divine.
The one rose was a blooming male,
Of a bright and berry-red hue.
He was as sweet and charming as mockingbird song,
Loyal, gallant, and true.
The other rose was a lady fair,
Whose dew-dipped eyes would shine
In the crisp light of the early dawn,
And her petals were dark and sanguine.
As days went by, when sunshine reined,
They learned their love was right.

ThroughAll the powers of darknessThrough
And the shroud of the night
I cant hold them off
I cant stand and fight
My souls been consumed
By their black burning fires
Through my skin it crawls
My soul it desires
The light that once was
has now disappeared
And I now am controlled
By all that Ive feared
My minds not my own
Im a hollow grave
A whole lot of nothing
And a mindless slave
Dont try to save me

The Great ObsessionAn object that grabs your attentionThe Great Obsession
Now you never fail to mention
This object, whether it be person, thing, or place.
In the recess of your mind it sits
Playing round your thoughts and wits
The object of desire mocks you, laughing madly in your face.
The desire and the need build stronger
Hold it in you can no longer
Until its absence takes you to the point where all you do is pace.
It fills you with a great anxiety
You show to it devotion, piety
And the strong arms of insanity hold you in

Pavement DewIt was a rainy, hazy day; muggy, to say the least. As the sun peeked its ultraviolet head out of the clouds for a mere few moments, the slight drizzle around me seemed not to fall to the pavement of the cold, black road, but rather into the low lying world of clouds that made up my surroundings. I drove to some unknown and rather uneventful place, not really bothering to examine my surroundings with care. Life just seemed to be that way sometimes too; people moving in and out, not really wondering or caring who or what they saw along the way. Humanitys downfall, you could say, was simply not caring. If everyone would just stop andPavement Dew

I may have already asked you this. But in my current state of extreme A.D.D. I really can't remember.
So fill me in, sugar cheeks!
